On Tuesday October 3rd, the Rutgers Packaging Engineering Program hosted its seventh annual career and fundraising banquet. The evening started with a career fair for students to network with the companies that attended. Students were able to broaden their scopes of packaging by learning about the 27 different companies at this event. Following the career fair was a dinner full of remarks and presentations including, but not limited to, a keynote speaker, new board member certification, and student scholarship awards. The keynote speaker was senior manager of WW Packaging at Amazon Brent Nelson, who spoke about eCommerce and sustainability. The discussion continued into the next day for an Amazon Information Session in the Busch Student Center.
